Week 4 was about wall framing. Crew was on site Tuesday through Saturday (off Monday and Sunday), and the extension went from bare perimeter framing to roof-arch joists going in by the end of the week.

Tuesday (7/14) — perimeter vertical framing for the new extension wrapped up, along with the diagonal joists.

Wednesday (7/15) — the big day: a framing package delivered mid-morning (wall columns, braces, ceiling/roof joists), and by end of day vertical framing, wind braces, and top plates were up across about half the extension.

Thursday (7/16) — mostly material movement and layout, shifting lumber from the front of the house back to the new zone, plus a bit of demo on the existing roof to tie the new addition in.

Friday (7/17) — another delivery (wall sheathing, sill plates), more ceiling joists and sheathing going up, and the crew briefly scaled up to three for a few hours.

Saturday (7/18) — a shorter half-day wrapping up roof-arch and extension-area joists. First Saturday the crew’s worked so far.
